Deity (in the spirit of the Garbage offensive), 2015
I drive my teeth toward you
haul them across the hallowed lands
you seek to conquer
with a Force brimming with the spirits of
millions beyond me
emerging from the depths of the sea,
from the veil of the mount.
Rooted in the tender snare of the manglar
I face my mother, the sea
and decry to the world/s
your silencing.
Regenerated by my ancestors,
100 azabaches shroud me in protection,
I am not alone
and we are not afraid.
